Privacy Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how JetMarinovexa collects, uses, stores, shares, retains, and removes personal data when a person visits our website, requests a consultation, attends our Hong Kong office, arranges a charter, travels as a passenger, cancels a booking, requests a refund, or contacts us.

JetMarinovexa provides charter services directly and acts as the data user responsible for personal data under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), or PDPO.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the interaction, we may collect:

  • Names, telephone numbers, email addresses, and contact preferences;
  • Passenger names, dates of birth, identification details, and travel-document information;
  • Routes, airports, dates, times, passenger totals, baggage, catering, accessibility, and pet information;
  • Consultation notes, quotations, booking confirmations, correspondence, and charter records;
  • Cancellation requests, payer information, refund information, and bank details;
  • Complaints, questions, requests, and service feedback; and
  • Device, browser, approximate location, cookie, referral, and website-interaction data.

The website does not collect charter payments because online payment is not offered.

If a customer provides information about another passenger, the customer must have a lawful basis for doing so and should inform that passenger about this Policy where appropriate.

3. Why We Use Personal Data

We may use personal data to:

  • Manage consultation requests and 48-hour consultation holds;
  • Schedule office consultations;
  • Develop charter plans and quotations;
  • Accept and administer bookings;
  • Coordinate aircraft, crew, airports, handling, catering, and transport;
  • Communicate itinerary, arrival, document, baggage, and operational requirements;
  • Process cancellations and refunds;
  • Respond to disputes, complaints, and inquiries;
  • Maintain security and prevent misuse;
  • Keep business, accounting, and operational records; and
  • Meet legal or regulatory duties.

Where information is mandatory, failure to provide it may prevent JetMarinovexa from arranging a consultation, issuing a quotation, accepting a booking, carrying a passenger, or processing a refund.

4. Notice at the Point of Collection

When JetMarinovexa collects personal data through a form or office process, the relevant collection notice should explain:

  • The purpose of collection;
  • Whether providing the information is voluntary or mandatory;
  • The consequences of withholding mandatory information;
  • The classes of persons who may receive the data; and
  • The customer’s access and correction rights.

This Privacy Policy supports those notices but does not replace a collection notice where a separate notice is required by the PDPO.

5. Sharing Required to Supply the Charter

JetMarinovexa is not an aircraft-listing marketplace and does not sell passenger information.

To perform a charter, relevant data may be disclosed to flight crews, aviation service providers, airports, ground handlers, immigration bodies, customs authorities, security personnel, caterers, transport providers, technology providers, banks, insurers, advisers, and public authorities.

Each recipient should receive only information reasonably connected with its role or a lawful requirement. Service providers processing personal data for JetMarinovexa are expected to apply appropriate confidentiality, security, retention, and use restrictions.

6. Overseas Data Transfers

International charter arrangements may require data to be accessed or received outside Hong Kong. Destinations may include departure, arrival, transit, aircraft-operating, and service-provider jurisdictions connected with the itinerary.

Where data is transferred outside Hong Kong, JetMarinovexa will use contractual, organizational, or operational measures appropriate to the information and recipient. Section 33 of the PDPO is not currently in operation, but JetMarinovexa may follow relevant regulatory guidance and voluntary cross-border data-protection practices.

Foreign authorities and recipients may be subject to legal requirements different from those in Hong Kong.

7. Direct Marketing

JetMarinovexa will not use personal data for direct marketing unless it has provided the information required by the PDPO and received the necessary consent. Silence will not be perceived as consent.

A person may withdraw direct-marketing consent at any time by emailing flight@Jetmarinovexa.com. No fee will be charged for processing the withdrawal.

8. Cookies and Website Tools

Cookies and similar tools may support website operation, preferences, audience measurement, security, and performance analysis.

Essential cookies may operate where required for the website to function. Nonessential analytics or advertising tools should be activated only in accordance with the consent choices and legal requirements applicable to the website.

The website should identify the categories of cookies used, their purposes, durations, and relevant third-party providers through a cookie notice or preference panel. Browser settings may also restrict cookies, although certain functions may then operate differently.

External websites control their own data practices. JetMarinovexa is not responsible for the privacy practices of an external website merely because the website contains a link to it.

9. Data Accuracy and Retention

JetMarinovexa takes practicable steps to maintain accurate personal data where that data is used or disclosed. Customers and passengers should notify us when relevant information changes.

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably required for the original purpose or for legal, accounting, contractual, dispute, aviation, security, and record-keeping needs.

Different records may have different retention periods. Business records may be retained for periods required under applicable Hong Kong tax or accounting laws. When data is no longer required, JetMarinovexa will take practicable steps to delete, anonymize, or restrict it, subject to lawful exceptions.

10. Information Security

JetMarinovexa applies practicable administrative, physical, and digital safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data and foreseeable risks. Measures may include access restrictions, staff responsibilities, password controls, restricted files, system monitoring, vendor terms, and disposal procedures.

No transmission or storage system removes every risk. If an incident occurs, JetMarinovexa will assess the information involved, affected persons, potential consequences, containment options, and notification considerations.

Where appropriate, JetMarinovexa may notify affected individuals, the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, law-enforcement bodies, or other relevant authorities.

11. Access and Correction Requests

Eligible individuals may request access to personal data held about them and correction of inaccurate data under the PDPO.

Requests should be sent to the Privacy Contact at flight@Jetmarinovexa.com and include enough information to identify the requester and relevant records. JetMarinovexa may request identity evidence and may require use of the applicable statutory data-access form.

A data-access request will be handled within the period prescribed by the PDPO, ordinarily 40 days after receipt, unless a lawful exception applies. Any access fee will not exceed the amount permitted under applicable law. Correction requests will also be handled according to statutory requirements.

Requests involving another person require lawful authority.

12. Legal Disclosures and Updates

Personal data may be disclosed where required by a court, regulator, immigration authority, customs authority, law-enforcement body, aviation authority, or other competent public body.

Charter-related disclosures may arise under the Civil Aviation Ordinance (Cap. 448), Air Navigation (Hong Kong) Order 1995 (Cap. 448C), Aviation Security Ordinance (Cap. 494), Carriage by Air Ordinance (Cap. 500), or other applicable requirements.

Electronic communications are handled consistently with the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (Cap. 553).

JetMarinovexa may revise this Policy when legal, operational, or website practices change. The current version should display its effective date on the website. Privacy questions, complaints, access requests, and correction requests may be sent to flight@Jetmarinovexa.com.
